Micmspheres has been extensively applicated in more fields and many preparation methods were developed. The typical preparation methods of hollow microspheres were summarized, such as templating, microemulsion and spraying. The developing trends and applications of microspheres in the antibacterial and biological field were introducted. The applications of silver - loaded microsphere, chitosan microsphere and magnetic microsphere also illustrated.
