The coke oven gas recovery and utilization way is introduced, and a detailed analysis of the process and the development status of Coke Oven Gas to Synthesis Gas （ natural gas） is given. Synthesis gas is a new way of efficient utilization of coke oven gas. However, the technology is still in the stage of design and promotion. The important steps to realize the maximize benefits of this technology includes further research, optimization of the process parameters and promotion of the key process and equipment localization.
