改革开放以来研究生英语教材演进特征分析

An Analysis of the Features of Postgraduates English Teaching Materials since the Reform and Opening-up in China

自1978年恢复研究生招生考试制度以来,非英语专业研究生英语教材建设在我国的研究生外语教学系统工程中起着非常重要和特殊的作用。以研究生英语教育发展历程中1992年《非英语专业研究生英语(第一外语)教学大纲》的颁布和1999年研究生层次学校扩招政策的实施为节点,把改革开放以来我国出版的非英语专业研究生英语教材划为1978—1992年、1993—1998年、1999年至今三个阶段。以这三个阶段研究生英语教材为考察对象,从教材主编背景、编写依据或理念、教材构成、课文主题四个方面厘清不同发展阶段研究生英语教材演进的特点,探究其发展变化的缘由及学科发展机理,以期为当下研究生英语教材开发与建设提供参考。

The development of English teaching materials for non-English major postgraduates has played a crucial and special role in the systematic project of Chinese postgraduate English teaching since the resumption of the policy of postgraduate entrance examination.Taking Teaching Syllabus of Non-English Major Postgraduates for the First Foreign Language in 1992 and the implementation of the policy of the enrollment expansion of postgraduates in 1999 as the turning points,we classify the English teaching materials for non-English major postgraduates into three phases since the reform and opening-up policy.Those are from the year 1978 to 1992,from the year 1993 to 1998and from the year 1999 to now.From the perspectives of the background of the authors,guidelines,formation and contents,the concrete changes and features are presented in different developmental phases for the English teaching materials for non-English major postgraduates.Also the underlying reasons and mechanism for the changes are discussed and some suggestions are put forward to provide a reference for the development of current English teaching materials for non-English major postgraduates.
