摘要
"民众的工艺"的简称就是民艺,这是柳宗悦先生对民艺的一种深情表达和阐释。民艺在柳氏眼中有着不一样的意义,离开了民艺就没有我们的生活。柳氏对此有一个很好的总结,那就是"任何从实际需要出发的事物,一旦离开生活便不复存在"。当代中国社会和经济突飞猛进的发展,使民艺发展的空间越来越小,民艺与民众生活越来越远,柳宗悦朴素、睿智的民艺理论必然会给当代中国民艺的发展提供很大的启发。
＂Public arts and crafts＂ refers the folk art, which is another kind of expression and explanation of folk art by Soetsu Yanagi. There is an inseparable relationship between folk art and common life, only in daily life the value of folk art can be fully reflected. Soetsu Yanagi gives an excellent summary about folk art, that is, every object which appeals to the reality will no longer exist when it departs from actual life. With the rapid development of society and economy in China, folk art faces serious crisis and fades out of people＇s daily life. Therefore, Soetsu Yanagi＇s simple, intelligent folk art theory will have great significance and provide great inspirations to folk art＇s development in China.
