On Effective Teaching in The English Listening Course with MCALL

本研究分析了多媒体计算机辅助语言教学模式下英语听说课堂的教学步骤,阐述了在英语听说课堂组织中如何合理利用多媒体手段,引起学生的兴趣,提高学生的课堂学习效果及培养学生的听说能力,探讨了教师与学生的课堂任务的转变,肯定MCALL模式弥补了传统教学模式的不足,为英语听说课堂教学提供了有效途径。

Through analyzing the teaching procedures in the English Listening class based on Multimedia Computer Assisted Language Learning,i.e.,MCALL environment,this paper aims to explain how to use the multimedia technology to arouse the students＇ interest,and enhance the effects of classroom teaching and improve the students＇ listening and speaking abilities.It probes into the transformation of both the teachers＇ tasks and the students＇ tasks.MCALL overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional teaching methods and provides an effective way for the teaching of English Listening and Speaking Course.
