In the period of the Reform Movement, Hangzhou Sericulture College created by Lin Qi, the education pioneer ofZhejiang, was the first modem vocational education institution, has its distinct characteristics in the motivation of its settingup, the aim of running the school, course teaching and community service. It has made a great achievement in personneltraining, science communication and industrial economic, which in turn has laid its foundation in modem history of vocationaleducation, and given some inspiration to today＇s practice of vocational education.
