摘要
提出了一种基于结构相似的容错跨层优化方案来优化LTE上行视频流。首先,通过对LTE上行物理层的调制编码方案以及视频编码应用层的量化参数进行跨层配置,以提高视频包传输的可靠性。进而,将具有差错传递抑制的率失真优化引入到了跨层设计中来抑制传递失真对解码视频质量的影响。实验表明,本文提出的优化方案能够有效的提高视频包传输的可靠性与视频数据的容错性,并相应改善了接收端用户的视频体验质量。
This paper proposes a Structural SIMilarity(SSIM)- based error- resilient cross- layer optimization scheme to optimize the LTE uplink video streaming.Firstly,the transmission reliability of video packet is improved by jointly configuring the Modulation and Coding Scheme(MCS) at the LTE uplink physical layer and Quantization Parameter(QP) at the video coding application layer.Further,the error- resilient Rate- Distortion Optimization(RDO) is introduced into the cross- layer optimization scheme to suppress the video decoding distortion degradation which is caused by the propagated error.Experimental results show that the proposed cross — layer optimization scheme can efficiently improve the reliability of the video packet transmission and the error- resiliency of the video data,and that the perceived video quality of the end user is correspondingly improved.
