影片《单身男女2》最为突出的艺术特色便是戏仿。与传统的续集模式不同,它虽以前作为戏仿对象,却在情节叙事与主题建构上都力求"反向操作",以图在颠覆中建构新的期待视野与意义。这种反向式戏仿不仅使导演杜琪峰摆脱了前作造成的"影响的焦虑",也让观众在感受到由反向戏仿带来娱乐性的同时,对当下都市爱情伦理产生反思。

The most prominent artistic feature in the film ＂Don＇t Go Breaking My Heart 2＂ is parody. Different from the traditional mode of sequel, it is used as a parody, but tries to ＂reverse operating＂ the plot narrative and theme construction, in order to build a new horizon of expectation and significance in subversion. The reverse parody not only makes the director Johnny To out of the former work＇s ＂anxiety of influence＂, but also makes the audience feel the fun brought by reverse parody. At the same time, it also can produce reflections on contemporary urban love ethics.
