Experience of Gao Jiansheng in treating orbital inflammatory pseudotumor

眼眶炎性假瘤是眼球突出的常见原因,如累及视神经可引起视力减退或丧失。目前多认为眼眶炎性假瘤是一种自身免疫性疾病,但对其病因和发病机制尚不清楚,临床上治疗本病缺少确切有效的方法,治愈率较低且容易复发。高健生研究员在长期临床过程中治疗了较多久治不愈和反复发作的患者,疗效较好,本文就其辨证和治疗特点做一探析。

Orbital inflammatory pseudotumor is one of popular reasons of exophthalmos,and can lead to vision falling down or loss if affecting optic nerve.Till now,orbital inflammatory pseudotumor is considered as a kind of autoimmune disease by most academics,but the cause and the pathogenesis of which are still unclear,the treatment is limited either,the cure rate is low and easily to recurrence.For many years Professor Gao Jiansheng have treated orbital inflammatory pseudotumor patients with long course of disease and repeated outbreak.The curative effect was good.This article summed up his experience on syndrome differentiation and therapeutic characteristics.
