The main idea is that the writing style of Chinese students is indirect. This indirect way of expression is influenced by the traditional culture and the way of the mother tongue, and lists the common expressions of the two Chinese students writing. Another view is that the students＂ language of the two language writing does affect the students, but the impact is very small. Once the students master the writing requirements and skills, they can use the direct ex- pression of the English writing. The last part of the article gives teachers some advice on how to guide students to use direct expression in English writing.
