摘要
针对空间行波管放大器对高压电源的性能、效率、体积、重量等的特殊要求,提出了一种新型的高效率零电压零电流全谐振高压变换器,给出了高压变换器的拓扑结构,深入分析了变换器的工作原理和零电压零电流软开关的工作模式。利用PSPICE软件对变换器进行了原理性仿真,样机测试结果和理论分析表明由于采用软开关技术使行波管放大器的性能大大提高,该高压电源具有高效率、高可靠性和低纹波等优点,满足空间行波管放大器的要求。
A novel type of DC-DC high voltage power converter was developed for the travelling wave tube amplifier (TWTA) utilized in spacecraft. The newly-developed converter mainly consists of two stages, the 1^st-stage regulates and stabilizes the fluctuated input voltage, and the 2nO-stage boosts the voltage and isolates the primary/secondary voltages of the boost converter by means of a full bridge zero-voltage/zero-current pulse-width modulator(FB-ZVZCS-PWM). The operation principle and characteristics of the soft switching, involving the resonant oscillation of the leak-inductance and distributed-eapacitance of the boost converter and parasite capacitance of the electronic switches, were modeled, analyzed, simulated and tested. The novel converter was numerically simulated with software PSPICE and the prototyped converter was experimentally evaluated. The test results, in good agreement with the simulated results, show that the soft switching technology significantly improves the performance of the converter with higher conversion efficiency, better reliability and lower ripple voltage. We suggest that the newly-developed converter may work well to power the TWTA in spacecraft.
