摘要
尽管我国大学生的英语整体水平逐年提升,但在听、说、读、写、译五项基本技能中,"说"是学生最为薄弱的一项,学生的英语口语水平亟待提高。多模态话语分析为教师与学生提供了多种模态的话语意义表达方式,能够有效提高课堂教学效率,优化教学方式与手段,进一步提升学生英语口语水平,从而促进学生达到《大学英语课程教学要求》。
Although Chinese students' English proficiency has improved gradually, the average level of speaking ability among them is weaker in comparison with the listening, reading, writing and translating skills. Therefore, it is high time that we took measures to find a workable and valuable teaching mode which can improve their speaking proficiency remarkably. Multimodal discourse analysis theory provides a broad space for this goal. The oral English teaching mode based on multimodal discourse analysis theory can provide multimodal meaning expression, effectively improve teaching efficiency, optimize teaching methods, and further improve speaking proficiency. Only in this way, can we promote students to achieve the goals set by College English Curriculum Requirements.
