摘要
目前我国大部分学生的英语学习存在这样一种状况:虽然在学习中已趋于使用有效的学习策略,但还有许多学习者对语言学习过程中所承担的计划,管理,调节和评估等任务不了解,在学习中表现出目的性差,随意性强,依赖性大等特征。教育的目标是帮助学生学会学习,获得自主学习能力,以适应终身学习的需要。根据我国的教学环境,大学生的自身素质以及教学改革的现状,我们有必要从学习者入手,通过提高对学习策略的认识,提高其自主学习的能力。
Recently, a common situation exists in most of the Chinese students' English studies: they do not quite understand the task of plan making, management, adjustment and assessment that must be used in the learning course, thus showing less objective, much arbitrariness and strong dependence. Actually, education is to help learners learn how to study and acquire the learning abilities so as to satisfy the need of life-long learning. Taking the teaching situation at home, the qualities of students and ongoing teaching reform process, we have to promote self- learning capability by improving learners' perception on learning strategies. This paper aims to explore how to culti- vate students' self-learning abilities through an empirical research on metacognitive strategies.
