合乎道德的教育与真正幸福的追寻——当代中国教育的伦理思考 被引量:11

摘要 严肃讨论教育与人生幸福之间的关系、准确理解幸福的真正意涵,对于巨变中的当代中国来说十分必要。虽然功利主义的逻辑常常遭人批评,但是人生幸福始终是恪守道德的最有说服力的理由。问题的关键在于,教育者最重要的使命也在于,人们应当清晰地界定幸福的具体内涵,而非仅仅简单说明幸福作为道德行动理由的重要。什么是真正的幸福?如何从幸福概念的正确理解中获得人生的启迪?基于教育与幸福的关系,我们的教育应当、能够对学生和教师提供什么样的服务?这些都是我们应该认真思考的问题。 It is helpful to discuss the relationship between happiness and education against the back- ground of the massive changes taking place in contemporary China. Happiness, or our quest for it, pro- vides a very valid reason for why we should live according to a moral code, although this utilitarian ap- proach cannot give a perfect answer to the critiques from deontology. The essential problem, and one that all educators should consider, is most likely accurately defining the content of happiness, not just at- tempting to understand whether happiness provides a reason for moral behavior. What is the real meaning of "happiness"? How can we learn life's wisdom through better understanding of this concept? What should, and what can, our education system provide for children and teachers in this regard? These are the questions we should think about.
