摘要
对"忠实"的质疑与批判在根本上撼动着二千余年来译界学人们的固有信念,影响着翻译研究这一学科内部最基本的价值判断方式,同时也将翻译之"应该"的元理论研究这一课题推上了重要的议事日程。论文以剖析元理论研究之特点和意义为起点,在检视"忠实"解构论及其所带来的价值迷惘与困惑的基础上,交代了翻译之"应该"的元理论问题产生背景,探讨了翻译之"应该"的元理论研究任务,最后从理论和实践两方面指出了翻译之"应该"的元理论研究意义。
The prevailing skepticism cast upon both the rationality and validity of＂faithfulness＂has shaken the two-thousandyear old conviction inherent in translation scholars＇mind,challenged the basic value system within the discipline of translation studies,and made the meta-theoretical study on the＂ought＂of translation an important project in the agenda.With a brief introduction of meta-theoretical study as its starting point,with a quick survey on the current research on the＂ought＂of translation as its basis,this paper sets the background of the meta-theoretical project,raises meta-theoretical questions concerning the basis and foundation of the study on the＂ought＂of translation and demonstrates the significance of the project from practical and theoretical perspectives.
