In the Instrument system, grounding is a very important issue. The quality of grounding is directly related to the electrical equipment and the safety of person. This article analyzes the differences between working grounding、lightning surge protection and equipotential bonding, focuses on introducing the grounding methods and installation of surge protector. The function and construction specifications of various grounding are descripted in detail.
