摘要
文章捡集了中国古代文献和部分大百科全书中关于"音乐"定义的文字,对此做出了音乐学或声学的分析,提出有关"音乐是什么"的新定义,即音乐是以发声体的振动所产生的、或有清浊变化规律、或有某种音阶结构、或有响度变化以造成旋律和形式美的声音来表达人们的思想和情感的艺术。
This paper collected articles on definition of music from ancient Chinese classics and modern encyclopedias,and conducted an analysis on what constituted music from the perspectives of musicology and acoustics,namely,music is the art of sounds expressing human thoughts and emotions,endowed with regular movement of pitch,or some kinds of scales,or variation of volume for melody and beauty of form.
