辣椒新品种川优18号的选育

Breeging of a New Hybrid Hot Pepper Variety——Chuanyou 18

川优18号是以辣椒胞质雄性不育系QFl00-1A为母本、恢复系2008-2-2-1C为父本配制的早熟辣椒一代杂种。果实细长羊角形，纵径25～30cm，横径1．6cm，平均单果质量18g；青熟果绿色，老熟果鲜艳红亮，辣味香浓；每667m。产鲜红椒3500～4000kg。抗TMV、CMV和疫病，适宜全国各地早春露地和保护地栽培。

Chuanyou 18 is an early-mature hot pepper F1 hybrid bred by crossing a cytoplasm male sterile line QF100-1A with a restorer line 2008-2-2-1C. It grows long sheep-horn shaped fruit from green to bright red, 25 30 cm in length, 1.6 cm in diameter, and average 18 g per fruit with fragrant hot taste. It yields fresh red fruit 52.5 - 60 t per hm^2. It is resistant to TMV, CMV and phytophthora capsici. And it could be grown in both open and protected fields in early spring.
