This paper discusses the nationwide reading on national level and the students＇ quality on personal level to show the significance of college students ＇ reading books. Problems such as more digital reading than paper books,more shallow reading than in-depth reading and fragmentation of reading exist extensively among the college students which affected the formation of good reading habits,so this paper provides the college students with the guidance of book option and reading methods.
