开放与疏离:爱德华·霍普绘画作品与19世纪末诸文艺流派关系寻绎

Edward Hopper's paintings and other schools of literature and art in the end of 19th century

艺术家个体在进行艺术创作之时,不可避免地会受到来自不同时空的其他文艺流派对其艺术观念进行的影响与塑造——不论是时间维度的承续还是空间维度的影响。爱德华·霍普是20世纪初期美国著名的以描绘"美国场景"闻名的画家,其艺术观念的形成与其时代的其他艺术流派有着一定联系。爱德华·霍普作品当中呈现出的丰富性与可待开掘性在他本人对当时各个文艺流派的兴趣与所受的影响上得到体现。其艺术创作与其时诸艺术流派如象征主义、超现实主义之间有着千丝万缕的联系。

As an American artist known for portraying American scenes in the early 20 th century,Edward Hopper is influenced by his contemporaries.The aim of this essay is to probe into the relations,by means of the historical context and background,between Hopper and other artists of schools,i.e.,surrealism,symbolism and expressionism.
