摘要
采用中国制造业企业2002~2006年面板数据,实证分析国际市场上来源于不同工资水平国家的产品市场份额对我国企业出口产品质量的影响及作用机理。研究发现,高工资国家出口产品的市场份额与我国企业出口产品质量存在显著正相关关系,来自高工资国家的出口竞争促使我国企业提高自身创新能力,从而提高企业出口产品质量。进一步分样本回归发现,高工资国家出口竞争与企业人力资本对企业出口产品质量的协同提升作用在技术密集型行业最为显著,而资本密度和研发投入与高工资国家出口竞争对企业出口产品质量的协同提升作用在劳动密集型行业最显著。
This paper analyzes the correlation between export competition from different wage countries and the quality of export products of Chinese enterprises as well as the influencing mechanism ,employing a full set of micro‐level panel data of Chinese manufacturing enterprises from 2002 to 2006 .T he empirical results indicate that the market shares of export products from high‐wage countries have a significant and positive correlation with the export products quality .The competition from high‐wage countries boosts the quality upgrading via prompting enterprises to strengthen their innovation capacity .The results of sub‐samples regression indicate that the synergy impact of human capital and completion from high‐wage countries has the strongest effect in the technology‐intensive sectors ,w hile the synergy impact of R&D investment ,capital intensity and comple‐tion from high‐wage countries have the strongest effect in the labor‐intensive sectors .
