阐释学视角下的译者主体性研究——以亚瑟·威利的《论语》英译本为例

Research on Translator's Subjectivity from the Perspective of Hermeneutics ——A Case Study of The Analects of Confucius Translated by Arthur Waley

传统的翻译研究往往忽视了译者的主体地位,使译者的处境尴尬,不利于翻译研究的多元化发展。本文借助斯坦纳的阐释学翻译理论,从阐释学视角对亚瑟·威利翻译的《论语》译本进行分析,从翻译过程的信任、吸收、侵入和补偿四个方面探讨,以期证明译者主体性在这四个步骤中的具体体现。

Traditional translation research mostly ignored the subjectivity of the translator, which made the position of translators quite awkward. It is detrimental to the diversified development of translation studies. This article tries to analyze The Analects of Confucius Translated by Arthur Waley from the Perspective of Hermeneutics by relying on Steiner＇s Hermeneutic translation theory. This article will probe from four aspects, namely, trust, aggression, incorporation and restitution, during which process, translators＇ subjectivity can be revealed.
