"辨证论治"是中医理论中很重要的概念。"辨证论治"与疾病的诊断和治疗密切相关,"辨证论治"即中医学诊、治疾病的理论。辨证论治所辨的对象是证候,即症状和体征,辨的结果是疾病的病机,病机又是论治的依据或前提。病机与证候不能混用,另创"证候"概念代替病机是脱离中医基本理论的错误作法。"证"的研究实际是脏腑病机的研究。

＂ Therapy with syndrome differentiation＂ is an important concept of TCM theories. It is closely related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. It is a theory about TCM diagnosis and treatment. Its subjeet is syndrome,including symptoms and signs. Its result is pathogeuesis which is base and premise of therapy with syndrome differentiation. Pathogenesis and syndromes cannot be mixed ; Using ＂syndromes＂ concept to replace pathogenesis is a wrong practice cutting ties with TCM theories. The study of syndrome is in fact about the viscera pathogenesis.
