古寺庙彩绘泥塑宗教造像传统工艺研究体系探讨

On the Research System of the Traditional Crafts of the Color-painted Religious Clay Sculptures in Ancient Temples

通过对古代不同时期寺庙彩塑现场勘查调研,从传统制作程序中总结出彩塑制作的三要素,并以此为主线,建立结构、材质、病害同步的研究体系和研究方法,深化对传统工艺科学性的认识,以期获得彩塑传统材料的特性、功用及工艺的技术意义和科学内涵;为分析病害、指导保护修复提供参考依据。

Through the onsite observations and surveys to the extant color-painted clay sculptures in more than a dozen of temples, three essential factors of the making of the color-painted clay sculptures were drawn from the traditional making procedures; with these three essential factors as the stems, the research system and methods synchronically on the structure, materials and diseases of the clay sculptures were established in order to deepen the understanding to the scientificness of the traditional techniques, obtain the features and functions of the traditional materials of the color-painted clay sculptures and the technical significance and the scientific connotations of the traditional techniques, and provide reference and evidences to analyze the diseases and direct the conservation and restoration.
