Starting with the urban setting of China Print Art Museum, this paper analyzes the impact of cultural industries on the upgrading of suburban cultural amenities. For the recently completed national cultural building, the crucial design approach lies in how the relationship between the new structure and its village setting should be tackled, and how architecture itself can become a vessel of artistic experience, research and consumption. The paper further points out that, as a key strategy, ＇structural experience＇ has exerted a decisive impact on the design exposition and value presentation of China Print Art Museum.
