AN INTERVIEW WITH GARY HANEY AND AYBARS ASCI

盖里·哈尼自1996年起成为SOM事务所的设计合伙人,他于1984年加入这家知名公司位于华盛顿特区的分部。并从1988年开始转为纽约分部效劳。作为SOM事务所常务委员会的成员之一,除了做全公司范围内的领导工作外,哈尼还监管着公司内的三个设计工作室。其中一个是由艾巴尔斯·阿希(2001年加入SOM)设计总监带领的设计团队,且每个团体均包含25名以上的员工。工作室目前的业务虽不包括实验室及教育空间等项目,但在其他类型领域却涉及深广。

Gary Haney has been a desiqn partner of SOM since 1996.He joined the venerable firm in 1984,in its Washington,DC,location,and he has been based in New York City since 1988.In addition to exercising firm-wide leadership as a member of SOM's executive committee,Haney oversees three of its design studios.One is led by director Aybars Asci,an SOM employee since 2001;each group comprises as many as 25 individuals.Although the studios' body o' work excludes laboratories and education spaces,it is otherwise varied in typology.
