Summary and Evolution: A Survey of the Mongolian History in the Qing Dynasty History

清代蒙古族史学内涵十分丰富。它是在对北元—蒙古时期就已经形成的黄教与史学联姻史学传统继承的基础上建立的,并在记载内容、主要特征和编纂目的等方面进行了总结性的发展。但在清朝的高压统治下,蒙古族史学采取或回避蒙古族入清以来的历史,或在论述佛教史时放弃其政治涵义,或干脆否定"蒙藏同源说"等改变这一史学传统的做法。在清代一统的局面下,蒙古族与其他民族展开了广泛的交流,从编纂体裁和语言等方面都继承了其他民族的文化和史学成就。当然,与整个清代史学一样,清代蒙古族史学也在"开眼看世界"、揭露西方列强入侵的史实等方面开始了其走向近代的历程,整体上呈现出总结与嬗变的时代特征。

The content of Mongolian history was very rich in the Qing Dynasty. It was established based on the tradition of the Buddhism combined to history from Northern Yuan Mongolian and developed on the mention contents,main features and compilation purposes. Its development was also difficulty because of the Qing Dynasty＇s repressive rule policy. The Qing Dynasty Mongolian either took evasive Mongolian history since the Qing Dynasty,or abandoned its political implications in their discussion about the history of Buddhism,or completely negated the ＂ Mongolian and Tibetan identity＂. In the unified situation of the Qing Dynasty,Mongolian＇s history inherited the cultural and Historical achievement of the other nationalities. Of course,during the entire history of the Qing Dynasty,facing the invasion of Western powers,the Qing Dynasty Mongolian historians began its move towards modern history on ＂ On seeing the world＂ and exposed the Western powers aggression. This showed the feature of summary and evolution.
