Poverty Alleviation Policy in Mongolia and the Implications of Chinese Poverty Alleviation

贫困问题仍然是21世纪人类社会所面临的问题之一。联合国千年发展目标的第一个目标就是到2015年要将各国贫困人口数量缩减两倍。在相当长的一段时间内,中蒙两国均曾存在不同程度的贫困问题。但中国卓有成效地解决了贫困问题,国家面貌也发生了翻天覆地的变化。然而蒙古国形势仍然很严峻,贫困成为困扰国家发展的主要社会问题。因此,观察与研究中国式扶贫及其启示,有利于蒙古国扶贫政策的调整与改进。

Human society faces poverty which is the most difficult problem of the 21 st century. Millennium development goals of United National focus on the first goal that will reduce poverty twice by 2015. In a long period of time,varying degrees of poverty exists in both China and Mongolia. Fortunately China could find effective solutions to solve the problem of poverty,and tremendous changes have taken place in the country. However,the situation is still very grim in Mongolia,for poverty has become a major social problem in the national development. Therefore,observing and studying the Chinese poverty alleviation will help to adjust poverty alleviation policies in Mongolia.
