Nationwide reading has the important significance for improving national quality, inheriting culture, and enhancing the comprehensive national strength. This paper summarizes the current situation of China＇s nationwide reading,analyzes the main obstacles influencing the national reading rate, and puts forward some strategies for strengthening the nationwide reading promotion.
