The Relationship between the Complexity of the Contract and the Risk of Knowledge Leakage—The Regulating Effect of Product Modularization

企业战略联盟中存在显著的知识泄漏风险,而合同治理是避免知识泄露的重要手段。生产和研发的产品模块化的应用能够强化原有的联盟合同治理效果,制造企业采用简单的合同也能够规避知识泄漏风险。通过调节作用分析,验证产品模块化在合同治理影响知识泄漏风险中的作用机制。结果表明,合同复杂度越高,越能降低知识泄漏风险;产品模块化程度加强了合同治理程度对知识泄漏风险的作用。

There are significant risks of knowledge leakage in the strategic alliance, and the contract is an important factor to protect the knowledge resource in the corporation and for the balance of knowledge sharing and control. With the applica- tion of product modularization, manufacturing companies can use a simple contract to avoid the risk of knowledge leakage. The article verifies the governance mechanisms of product modularization in the contract. The research shows that the higher the complexity of the contract, the lower the risk of knowledge leakage and the higher the degree of the product modulariza- tion, the stronger effect of contract on the risk of knowledge leakage.
