摘要
信息技术所带来的媒介融合改变了传统的新闻生产与传播方式,媒介融合的大环境需要知识背景多元、能力全面的全媒体人才,作为实用性与专业性要求极强的新闻传播专业硕士,如何面对这一挑战,是学界重要的现实问题。中美两国的新闻传播专业硕士教育在课程体系、师资队伍和实践平台等三方面存在显著的理念与实务差异,系统分析中美两国在新闻传播专业硕士教育领域的差异,有益于通过比较和借鉴的途径建构我国媒介融合背景下更为理想的新闻传播专业硕士培养模式。
Media convergence brought about by information technology has changed the traditional way of news production and communication, and it has also cultivated a new environment demanding media professionals to have both multifaceted understanding of background knowledge and comprehensive media skills. This challenge is what the academic community has to face in training Master of Journalism Communication(MJC) students, who are expected to have very high level of both hands-on abilities and professionalism. The MJC programs in China and those in the US have notable conceptual and practical differences in curriculum, faculty, and practicum platforms. This paper compares these differences in hope for a better understanding and constructing of a MJC program model.
