酸杨桃果汁对糖尿病模型小鼠的降血糖作用

Hypoglycemic effects of Averrhoa carambola L.(Oxalidaceae)juice in STZ diabetic mice

目的:探讨酸杨桃果汁对糖尿病模型小鼠的血糖影响以及早期糖尿病肾病(DN)的预防作用。方法:采用链脲佐菌素(STZ)尾静脉注射制备糖尿病小鼠模型,糖尿病小鼠随机分为5组:模型对照组、二甲双胍组、酸杨桃果汁高、中、低剂量组,另设10只正常昆明小鼠为空白对照组。各组分别予二甲双胍(320 mg·kg-1体质量/天)、不同剂量(25,50,100 g·kg-1体质量/天)酸杨桃果汁及生理盐水灌胃21 d,观察各组小鼠空腹血糖和体质量的变化,并于21 d后处死小鼠,测定血清胰岛素、血清肌酐及尿素氮。结果:高、中剂量酸杨桃果汁能显著降低糖尿病模型小鼠的空腹血糖(P<0.01)和空腹血清胰岛素(P<0.01)、能对抗糖尿病小鼠体质量减轻的症状,显著降低小鼠血清肌酐和尿素氮的含量(P<0.05)。结论:酸杨桃果汁对链脲佐菌素致糖尿病小鼠有显著的降血糖作用,并具有保护肾脏的作用。

OBJECTIVE To investigate preventive effects of Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice on blood glucose and early diabetic nephropathy（DN）in diabetic mice.METHODS Diabetic mice were established by injecting streptozotocin（STZ）via tail vein.Mice with diabetes were divided into the following five groups：model control group,metformin control group,high-,moderate-,low-dose of Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice groups.Model control group included 10 normal mice.Those mice were administered physiological saline,Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice（25,50,100 g·kg^-1 body weight/d）and metformin（320 mg·kg^-1 body weight/d）via intragastric gavage for 21 days,respectively.Levels of fasting blood glucose（FBG）,change of body weight and death rate were observed during 21 days.Activities of fasting blood serum insulin（FBSI）,kidney serum creatinine and urea nitrogen were determined after 21 days of treatment.RESULTS High and moderate doses of Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice had beneficial effects on decrease of FBG,FBSI and mitigation of lose of body weight in diabetic mice（P〈0.01）.Moreover,serum levels of creatinine and urea nitrogen were decreased by Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice（P〈0.05）.CONCLUSION Averrhoa carambola L.（Oxalidaceae）juice shows beneficial effects on decrease of FBG and renal protection.
