摘要
通过广泛调查收集紫薇多种源、多品种的种子,开展混合种子育苗造林,采集实生苗花粉自然杂交的种子继续混种育苗,促进多代实生苗花粉自然杂交而产生丰富的变异子代;选择表型变异优良的材料,建立无性系遗传稳定性测试圃,经无性系遗传稳定性试验,选育出‘直萼堇薇’、‘紫爪玫瑰红’、‘翠盘紫红’、‘直萼复色粉’、‘多花直枝白’5个新品种,已在城市园林绿化中推广应用。
The research team investigated extensively and collected a quantity.of Lagerstroemia indica seeds of multiple sources and varieties, carried out programs of seedling and planting with hybrid seeds, gathered the plantlets' naturally pollen-hybridized seeds to further the seedling and breeding experiments, thus produced a rich variation of progenies, then selected materials of good phenotypic variations, and had finally established a clonal heredity stability test garden. After a number of experiments to test the stability of clonal heredity, 5 new varieties had been bred and developed, and they were named as Lagerstroemia indica 'Zhie Jinwei', L. indica 'Zizhao Meiguihong', L indica ' Cuipan Zihong', L. indica ' Zhie Fusefen', L. irtdica ' Duohua Zhizhibai'. Now the 5 new varieties of Lagerstroemia indica had been applied in city landscaping.
