Results of health surveillance among radiation workers in Nantong City in 2013

目的了解南通市放射工作人员健康状况,更好地做好健康监护工作,为职业性放射性疾病诊治提供依据。方法根据卫生部《放射工作人员职业健康管理办法》和《职业健康监护管理办法》进行相关检查,对健康查体结果进行统计分析。结果南通市放射工作人员与对照组相比WBC计数、血红蛋白(Hb)含量、眼晶体混浊率、甲状腺功能差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),放射工作人员眼晶体混浊率与工龄有显著相关性(r=0.305),其余检查指标不同工龄组间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论南通市放射工作人员健康受到一定的损伤,应加强放射防护,减少电离辐射的损伤效应。

[ Objective ] To understand the physical condition of radiation workers in Nantong City, implement the occupational health surveillance, and provide some basis for the treatment of occupational radiation diseases. [Methods] The relevant examinations were conducted according to the Occupational Health Management Regulations on Radiation Workers and the Occupational Health Surveillance Regulations published by Ministry of Health, and the physical examination results were analyzed statistically.[Results] There were statistically significant differences in white blood cell （WBC） count, hemoglobin content, rate of eye crystal opacity, and thyroid function between radiation workers group and control group （P〈0.05）. The rate of eye crystal opacity in radiation workers was significantly correlated with their length of service （r=0.305）, while the differences in other indexes among different length of service groups were not statistically significant （P〉0.05）.[ Conehlsion ] Certain damage has been observed among radiation workers in Nantong City, so it is necessary to strengthen the radiological protection to reduce the damage effect of ionizing radiation.
