摘要
芒福德是在技术哲学领域试图把心理学作为技术哲学基础的先锋。随着二战后资本主义社会信息技术的发展,芒福德认为原有的以"身体"为基础的技术哲学已不能解释新技术的现象,必须为新的"后工业时代"寻找更结实的哲学基础。芒福德以心理学为技术哲学的基础,把技术的起源追溯到心理原因,分析了造成现代技术困境的心理因素,提出要走出现代技术困境,必须先健全心灵。芒福德的"心理化技术哲学"为当代技术哲学研究提供了新的视域,为我们重新审视人与技术之间的关系提供了新理论。
Lewis Mumford is a pioneer who tried to take psychology as the basis for philosophy of technology. With the rapid development of information technology in the capitalist society after World War II, Mumford thought the ＂body based＂ philosophy of technology could not explain the new technical phenomena. We should find more solid philosophical foundation for ＂post industrial age＂.Mumford＇s psychologized philosophy of technology includes three aspects：the psychological factors of technology＇s origin; the psychological factors of modem technological society; the ＂psychotherapy＂ as a way to break through the technical dilemma. Mumford＇s psychologlzed philosophy of technology povides a new theory for re-examining the relationship between human and technology.
