摘要
民族口传文学翻译是中国翻译文学史一个不可或缺的部分,也是书写中华多民族翻译史的一个重要篇章。以活形态民族史诗《格萨尔》域内外翻译为研究个案,勾勒出民族文学"民译"、"汉译"和"外译"的翻译全景图。将藏语和蒙古语原创史诗翻译为汉语,通过汉译中介再翻译为各种外语推向世界,构成了当前民族文学以汉语为中介走向世界文学的译介模式。该模式为其他民族文学和文化对外传播提供了可资借鉴的途径,对当前中国文化"走出去"战略的实施具有重要意义。
The translation of ethnic oral literature is an indispensable part of history of translated Chinese literature, contributing to the multiethnic translation history of China. With "Gesaer"--a famous minority epic as an example, this paper attempts to show the translation panorama of "minority translation", "Chinese translation" and "foreign language translation". It is a contemporary translation pattern to put Tibetan and Mongolian epics into Chinese and then render the Chinese versions into foreign languages. It is argued that this pattern plays a significant role in promoting China' s ethnic literature on the global stage.
