冯世纶教授擅长应用大青龙汤,主张依据六经八纲理论解读大青龙汤。认为灵活应用此方,可拓展使用范围。指出该方应用指征为太阳阳明合病并见鼻塞、流涕,或发热、无汗,或体表浮肿;应用时需足量煎煮、适量服用,对表证无汗者,应覆被取汗。并运用该方治疗上呼吸道感染、鼻炎、鼻窦炎、肺炎、肾炎、脑炎等疾病。

Professor FENG Shilun is a contemporary famous doctor and is good at applying Daqinglong Decoction,and advocates to read the decoction according to the theory of Six-channel and Eight-principle. He thinks that the scope of use can be expanded if the decoction is flexibly applied. He puts forward that its pointer to application is the disease of Taiyang-Yangming and the symptoms of nasal congestion,runny nose or fever,no sweat,or skin dropsy. He takes the method of adequate number of decoction and the right amount of oral. Patients without sweat cover quilts and be sweating when then take the decoction.
