e-Science环境下,科学数据管理正逐渐成为科学领域和图书馆界的关注热点,国外图书馆界在科学数据管理方面出现了一些成功做法与最佳实践。新墨西哥大学图书馆主持的DataONE项目,在分布式信息基础架构、多元协作与整合、数据生命周期管理等方面的成功经验,为我国图书馆开展科学数据管理提供了有益借鉴,并引发对图书馆未来角色的新思考。图2。参考文献14。

Under the e-Science environment, scientific data management is gradually becoming the focus of at- tention in the fields of science and the library. Successful experiences and best practices of foreign scientific da- ta management have a big significance for our library community. On the basis of introducing the DataONE, which is hosted by the University of New Mexico Library, this paper analyzes the successful experience of its distributed information infrastructure, multiple collaboration and integration, and data life cycle management, points out the enlightenments to China＇ s libraries in conducting scientific data management, thus to lead to a new thinking on the future role of libraries. 2 figs. 14 refs.
