摘要
20世纪20年代,随着胰岛素的发现及生产,中国学者开始将其引进并翻译。本文对Insulin在中国首次得到官方命名的过程进行了初步研究。从Insulin到胰岛素,不仅是一个医学名词的翻译过程,也是西方医学在中国引入和传播的一个缩影。
When Insulin was first found in Canada in the 1920s, Chinese scholars started to introduce and translate that term. This paper traces the process of how insulin got its official Chinese name ＂Yidaosu＂, which not only reflects the localization of a medical term, but also epitomizes the import and spread of Western medicine in China.
