摘要
作为宋明理学及湖湘文化的重要开创者,周敦颐颇为注重修身教育、伦理道德教育和提倡修身养性。他以"诚"作为修身教育的起点,将人生道德修养建立在"诚"的基础上。同时,还建立了以"德"为基本核心的修身体系,倡导以"德"为基本理念来构建人的幸福观、富贵观,提倡保持独立、高洁的人格,主张藏愚守拙。周敦颐的修身教育思想宏富精深,致远清明,对于后来湖湘文化的发展及湖湘教育的繁荣及近代湖南人才群的产生均有着重要的价值和启迪意义。
As the important inaugurator of Song and Ming Philosophy and Huxiang Culture,Zhou Dunyi paid great attention to the education of moral virtues and ethic and advocated self- cultivation. He started cultivating the mind with "honesty" on which he put man’s moral cultivation. And at the same time,he established the system of cultivating morality centred around "Morality" on which to build concepts of happiness and prosperity,and advocated keeping independent and noble personal character,upheld hiding one’s own fool and keeping one’s clumsiness. Zhou Dunyi’s thinking of moral virtues education is abundant,profound,far- reaching,clear and bright,exerting important values and enlightening significance in developing and flourishing Huxiang Culture and producing modern Human talents.
