According to the theory of determination of total sulfur in coal by coulomethy, we combine practi？cal experience and characteristics of rapid intelligent sulfur determination instrument. And then we discuss factors that influence the determination of total sulfur and analyze some common problems in the instrument. Thus, we are able to extend the lifespan of the sulfur analyzer and boost the efficiency of sulfur analyzer in coal detection.
