On the Connotations and Value of Postgraduates' Academic Spirit

学术精神是推动研究生学术能力发展、养成学术道德的内核。研究生学术精神作为一种完整的精神体系,其内涵丰富、外延广阔。研究生学术精神的基本内涵是:求真务实的探索精神;刻苦勤奋的专业态度;学术研究的独立与自由;学术批判与创新。研究生学术精神的内在价值则主要体现在:(1)促进研究生人格的自我完善;(2)增强研究生学术规范意识,提升学术道德水平;(3)有利于国家后备学术人才的培育与开发。

Academic spirit is the core to promote postgraduates to develop their academic competence and form academic morality. Postgraduates＇ academic spirit, as a complete spiritual system, shows its rich connotations and wide extension. The basic connotations of postgraduates＇ academic spirit include explorative spirit for truth, professional attitude for hard work, independence and freedom for academic research, academic criticism and innovation. The inner value of postgraduates＇ academic spirit mainly shows the following aspects such as promoting them to perfect their personality, strengthening their consciousness for academic regulations, promoting their academic morality, and being helpful to cultivate and develop reinforcement of talent for our country.
