The Road Not Taken is one of the American poet Robert Frost's famous poems. The poem depicts the series of psychological activities the author had in choosing between the two roads in the wood. Literally it was about the roads in the forest. Actually, the author took the roads as a symbol of the roads of life. This paper, based on the analysis of the poem The Road Not Taken and two famous Chinese versions of it translated by Fang Ping and Gu Zixin, and with the aid of literary stylistics theory as the analytical framework, carries out a comparative analysis of the two versions, in order to analyze the reproduction of the two versions of the original style, and thus, investigates the value and guiding significance of literary stylistics in poetry translation.
