"东山歌册"起源于"潮州歌册",是文化交流的产物,在句式和曲调方面都具有独特鲜明的艺术特色。"东山歌册"在文本上具有丰富的劳动生产、风土饮食、传统习俗和人物事件四个方面的文本记忆;在吟唱方面上也承载着一定的社会记忆和文化心理。

Dongshan Song, originated in Chouzhou Song, is a product of cultural exchange. Its sentences and the tune have unique distinctive artistic features. In the text, Dongshan Song has involved four rich aspects of memory： labor, native diet, traditional custom, characters and events. Also in singing, Dongshan Song has carried certain social memory and cultural psychology.
