摘要 培养学生对专业文献的阅读理解能力是专业英语课程教学的重要任务.经过在9年教学实践中的不断尝试和探索新的教学方法,现总结出有效的教学方法:引导学生有技巧地学习词汇、加深对长句的理解以及从整体上把握文意,并提出了在国际化背景和网络背景下对专业英语课程教学的设想. How to improve students' reading comprehension on academic literatures?It's the most critical task for teachers in the curriculum of special English course for food quality and safety students .A con‐tinuous attempt and exploration in nine years' teaching experience had been conducted to refine teaching methods .The author has summarized these methods as three aspects :guiding students to study academic vocabulary skillfully ,grasp thorough meaning of long sentences ,and grasp whole subject of literature . The author has also presented several conceives of teaching reform in the background of internationalization and advanced Internet information .
