摘要
康拉德作品在中国的存在方式和阅读模式,一方面受到西方的影响呈现出一种动态性、衍生性和多样性;另一方面,在中国的历史文化语境下,不同的社会历史特点以及翻译家、文评家、作家和读者不同的个人喜好,赋予了康拉德不同的形象特征.基于达姆罗什提出的"世界文学"理论,康拉德在中国的形象变迁,正好反映了他处于译入语文化与译出语文化两个焦点构建起的椭圆形世界文学场域中,不断生成、"赋形"、"变形"和"正形"的过程.
Influenced by the West,Conrad's existence and reading takes on diversity,dynamicity and deriv-atives;on the other hand,in China's historical and cultural context,translators,critics and readers have endowed him with different images.On the basis of Damorasch's theory of world literature-an elliptical refraction,one that can be described through the figure of the ellipse,with the source and host cultures providing the two foci that generate the elliptical space within which a work lives,the vicissitude of Con-radian literature is just confined in this space.
