An plate -to- plate calculation procedure for ethanol -water non -ideal solution on distillation experiment data is introduced in detail in this paper. It is based on Exeel graphic solution. There are three aspects described： the curve fitting methods for vapor - liquid equilibrium data of non - ideal system, the calculation steps of the process parameters and the drawing processes of MeCabe - Thiele diagram. This method is simple, convenient and intuitive, and easily to master. This living example has been verified well accuracy, strong practicability and pertinence.
