摘要
马森认为大陆文学与台湾文学是"一体两面",并认为战后的台湾文学在中国现当代文学发展起过先锋作用,值得肯定。但这部厚厚的文学史,其实应叫《20世纪中国两岸文学史》,港澳文学和海外华文文学在此书中"吊在车尾",便是最好的证明。有大量引文的此书,不该署名"著",而应为"编著"。作者对大陆的政治体制多次作声讨和批判,失却了文学史书写的学术品格,硬伤也屡见不鲜。
Ma Sen' s view needs to be affirmed that mainland literature and Taiwan Residents literature is ' one body with two faces' and that post-war Taiwan Residents literature has played an avant-garde role in modern and contemporary Chinese literature. This literary history, as thick as a telephone directory, though, ought to have been titled, A History of Chinese Literature on Either Side of the Taiwan Strait in the Twentieth Century, evidenced by the fact that Hong Kongese Literature and Macao Literature as well as overseas literature in Chinese are left at the end of the book. A book like this, with so many quotations, should not have been accredited with' written by' but with' edited by'. When the author condemns and critiques the mainland political system on so many occasions, the book itself has lost its academic character as a literary history and it is littered with obvious errors.
