Objective: To discuss the curative effect of recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rhEGF) in treatment of oral ulcer in children with hand-foot-mouth disease. Methods: One hundred children with hand-foot-mouth disease complicated with oral ulcer were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 50 cases in each group. Based on the systemic treatment, the control group was given vitamin B2 deployment cod-liver oil, the treatment group was given rhEGF spray, after breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed each time, every time two jet spray. Respectively compared the efficacy of hand-font-mouth disease and oral ulcer symptoms of the two groups. The time of eat better and ulcer healing, adverse drug reactions were observed in both two groups. Results: After treatment, the total efficiency of hand-foot-mouth disease has no significant difference in two groups ( P〉0.05 ). In treatment group, the total efficiency rate of oral ulcer ( 90.0% ) was significantly higher than that of the control group ( 58.0% ), the difference was statistically significant ( P〈0.05 ). The time of eating better and ulcer healing in treatment group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P〈0.05). Conclusion: The process of rhEGF spray in the treatment of children with hand-foot-mouth disease complicated with oral ulcer, can effectively accelerate the oral ulcer healing, improve eating, relieve pain of children, have no significant adverse reactions, is worth the clinical promotion.
