This paper analyzed the significance of measurement work in municipal road construction,elaborated the contents and requirements of municipal road engineering measurement technology,and discussed the role of comprehensive utilization of GPS,RTK,AutoCAD in road con-struction,pointed out that the measurement technology guide urban construction data was one of the directions of future development of urban con-struction.
